Easy-read knitting needle gauge

Description: laser-cut on transparent acrylic, this tool has a handle making it easy to hold in one hand. Both sides have circular bumps with a hole in each bump: count the bumps leading to where your needle is, you know the size!

How to use it: On one side of the gauge, the holes in the bumps correspond to units (whole numbers) in the metric system, from 1 mm up to 10 mm. If your needle fits in the fourth hole, count the bumps before it to know that you are in the fourh hole and have a 4 mm needle! On the other side (the handle side) are the half-sized holes, from 1.5mm to 6.5 mm; same principle: insert the needle, count the bumps from the top to where your needle is, this is the size! Are you in the third hole? Third bump is 3.5mm! If it doesn't fit in the unit nor in the half-size, then it is either a .25 mm. or a .75 mm. depending on the direction, up or down.

No hassle! No memorizing sequences! No need to remember anything: insert in the hole, count the bumps and that is it!

The best and easiest knitting needle gauge you ever had!

Specially designed for the visually impaired and the blind, it is easy to use and eliminates having to read small writing. You will also avoid having to convert from one system to the other: the metric system is universal and all pattern designers and yarn companies use it!

Price:18$ (Delivery included via Canada Post).

Easy-read row counter

Just wear it and start keeping track of your work!

Description: double strings hold beads and cubes separated in the center by a larger bead (or bell). The row-counter attaches simply by inserting the toggle in the other end of the strings. Available in two formats : necklace (10 beads and ten cubes) and bracelet ( 5 beads and five cubes).

How to use it:  start by setting all the beads and cubes in place, sliding them far away or close to the center larger bead (or bell). As you knit or crochet, each time you finish a row ( or a sequence of stitches or anything that needs counting like decreases, increases...) slide one bead up to the other  end of the string. The beads and cubes are strung so that once pushed up they cannot go back down without you sliding them in the opposite direction.

Once all the beads have been used, they can be slid backwards as a cube is slipped up to represent them all. With the bracelet, 1 cube stands for 5 beads whereas with the necklace, 1 cube stands for 10 beads.

The beads and cubes can also be used to count different things: for example one set can take note of decreases while the other set takes note of rows. The combinations are endless!

Specially designed for the visually-impaired and the blind it is adopted by everyone hating to read small numbers and move little plastic pieces, fiddling with elastics that eventually get loose or break, having to take notes on a piece or paper or keeping  phone or tablet at hand when knitting or doing crochet!

Price: necklace: 18$ ; bracelet: 15$ ; necklace and bracelet : 30$  (Delivery included via Canada Post).
